Indian Peafowl

Scientific name: Pavo cristatus

Like the eyes of rainbow colors on its feathers, the Peafowls dance in dolce to celebrate the rain by unveiling its feathers in iridescence, shimmering its beauty.

An interesting study shows that Peacock quivers its feathers to emit a low- frequency sound that is not audible to human ear in order to attract Peahens. Peafowls are native to India and habitats in tropical regions and usually stays in close proximity to riverbanks or creeks.

Peafowl White

Scientific name: Pavo cristatus

Creatures, which are pure-white as a driven snow, the White Peafowl melts away any of its surroundings and spells its viewers in awe. It is a saying, seeing a White Peafowl brings you eternal happiness. Sometimes eternal can be a moment when this creature is around.

An interesting fact about Greylag Goose is that, Grey Goose have known to be domesticated about 3000 years ago and is the ancestor of most geese. Its distribution is wide spread, from north of its range in Europe and Asia.

Night heron

Scientific name: Nycticorax nycticorax

The black-crowned night heron, also known as night raven in Greek, these birds are known for nocturnal feeding habits. They have short legs and bright red eyes, with cream body coated with grey feathers. An interesting fact about Night Heron is that in Greek mythology, the bird is indicated as the messenger from the gods. It usually habitat near ponds, lakes, swamps, and other wetlands.

Emu

Scientific name: Dromaius novaehollandiae.

The Emu is the second largest living bird by height, after its retite relative , the Ostrich.It is endemic to Australia where it is the largest native bird and the only extant member of the genus Dromaius.Emus are diurnal birds and spend their day foraging ,preening their plumage with their beak,dust bathing and resting.

It’s a long tailed seed eating parrot usually nicknamed the budgies.Budges are the only species in the genus Melopsittacus.

Golden pheasant

Scientific name: Chrysolophus pictus

These live in central and southern china.Found on bushy slopes, rocky mountainsides,and terresed fields where there are dense conifer forests and sparse undergrowth.As omnivorvores, they eat tender bamboo shoots, insects, berries, grubs, seeds and flowers.Males are brightly colored with red chest, a golden yellow crest and a long tail. Such festive coloring contributes to the courtship displays.Females are brown ,beige and black.

Displayed in Ornamental colors, the Lady Amherst Pheasant is a vivid bird that wanders in the wild. An interesting fact about this bird is that, even though it can fly, these tend to run even when threatened. Lady Amherst Pheasant habitat in forest edges, meadows, scrub lands, woodlands and more.
